About Swayam Nadi Parikshan

Nadi Parikshan in present era is done by fingers and vary from the examiner to examiner and lack of standardization is an unfortunate thing in diagnosis, which has been haunting Dr. Pathak for a very long time.

Being a very industrious and studious person, Dr. Pathak always pondered over the situation and finally decided to experiment with some small instruments. He brought a simple pulse sensor and an oscilloscope and began his reading experiments. Till date he has taken pulse reading of over 10,000 persons to perfect the technique and has invented an instrument called Electro Nadi Graph (ENG).

The ENG equipment contains a wristband with a sensor, a monitor operating through an oscilloscope and connected to computer to record the blood wave pattern in speed versus timing.

PQRS is the wave and it begins from P and reaches the peak at Q comes to R to finally subside to S. The sensor in the Nadi Graph through an oscilloscope measures the timing of P to Q in milliseconds and produces a graph of the blood waves. These wave patterns are recorded and stored on computer. The timing can give us the cyclical and graphical representation of the voltage and speed through loading and unloading of the blood flow. The timing can also determine the quantity of blood thus to conclude on proper blood circulation.

Electro Nadi Graph can analyze the blood circulation to conclude in following specific readings.
• Brain Impulse Voltage
• Blood Format for Lipid Profile and Cholesterol
• Artery / Vein circulation Load Unload through timing difference
• Heart Disturbance through timing difference

Hence ENG can be a substitute to various tests. It reduces the time and the results as they are on the monitor save large amount of time to make Nadi Graph, the fastest diagnosis technology of detecting the brain power. It also determines the brain management status of proper / improper functioning. ENG has received a patent as one of the original invention.

Dr. Pathak in his career spanning over three decades has made many breakthroughs as he is one of the first medical practitioner to use Plant Stem Cell Therapy and till date has cured many untreatable diseases like Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Acute Psoriasis, and many other ailments which do not have any remedy. For the first time in world, ENG will be demonstrated in the 6th World Ayurvedic Congress.

"A new techno-wonder"
Ayurveda a system of traditional medicinenative to the Indian subcontinent and a form of alternative medicine that dates back to 5,000 BEE. The entire diagnostic method of Ayurveda is based on the technique of reading the pulse is known as Nadi Vidnyan and the examination of through this method is called Nadi Parikshan. Nadi corresponds to pulse and Vidnyan means understanding, comprehension or specialized knowledge. It is a very old method and in olden days the Rajvaidya (King's Doctor), while examining the queen used to tie a silk thread to queen's hand read the vibrations.

In fact this is one of the earliest technology where silk thread as an external object was used as an external tool for pulse examination. (Very similar to stethoscope)

Nadi Parikshan is a science perfected over time and has been the most accurate diagnostic procedure even today and a handful of people are following this science in present times. The three fingers (i.e. index finger, middle finger and ring finger) symbolizing Vata, Pitta & Kapha are used as the receptors and screening tools to diagnose and scan all the internal conditions of the body as per ayurveda.

Diagnosis is the key to treatment and in the present medical scenario and diagnosis has become technical through various equipments, tests and examinations. The advantage of equipments and tests is standardization of the diagnosis, hence uniformity of the results.

The emergence has technology has helped medical practitioners in locating the disorders and exact problems. The present use of technology in medical field can be seen in the use of various prevalent technologies like PET Scan, CT Scan, MRI, X -Ray, Doppler, Ultrasound, EEG, ECG, etc.
